Fluid channel design and simulation

Purpose

The purpose is to obtain the stable flow inside the specific area of square tube.

Condition
Material：

Air
Density：1.225(Kg/m³)
Viscosity：1.789E-05(Kg/m^-s)

Inlet:

Velocity：0.01(m/s)
Initial Pressure：0(pascal)

Result

The results of simulation are shown in following figures. The velocity and pressure phenomena can be observed respectively. As the result, the laminar flow was obtained under the current conditions.

Next, we would go further to simulate the turbulent flow at inlet. Then design the air-straightener or changing the shape/dimension/material of channel to obtain laminar flow according to simulation results.
